Our Process
1.
Start with the real needs
We take time to understand the building, the goals, the constraints, and what success looks like. That includes budget, schedule, performance, and long-term maintainability.
2.
Plan for the field, not just the drawings
We think through constructability early. Coordination, access, serviceability, and the small details that prevent headaches later all matter.
3.
Build with consistency and care
Our teams follow repeatable systems for planning, safety, quality, and documentation so jobs move smoother and expectations stay clear.
4.
Verify performance and set you up for what’s next
We confirm things are working the way they should and make sure you have what you need. That includes closeout documentation, support, and a path forward for ongoing reliability.
Faster collaboration. Practical systems. Real-world constructability.
Design-build works best when the people designing the system understand how it’s going to be built and serviced. With engineers and designers on staff, and strong field experience, QuesTec helps teams move quickly while keeping systems practical, coordinated, and dependable.
What you can expect with QuesTec design-build
- Solutions that are designed to be built and serviced
- Better coordination and fewer surprises during installation
- Clear pricing and scope alignment as the project develops
- Systems that perform in the real world, not just on paper
Strong bids. Consistent execution. Seamless worklow.
Plan and spec is where QuesTec got its start. We’ve built the estimating discipline and project systems that help us stay competitive and deliver efficiently. We may not be the lowest number on every job, but we’re consistently in the mix because we know how to plan the work and execute it with fewer surprises.
What you can expect with QuesTec plan and spec
- Reliable estimating backed by repeatable systems
- Coordination-minded field execution
- A steady approach to schedule, quality, and documentation
- A team that knows how to deliver under real jobsite conditions
Choose the support you need
QuesTec has cut its teeth in the plan and spec market. We consistently have the right number on the jobs that we bid.
We use BIM to create models and designs for our systems and VDC to set up our work processes and scheduling for fast, efficient system builds.
Our 7,500 square-foot prefabrication center allows us to produce components for our projects ahead of schedule, which helps cut down on-site installation time.
With tools for layout, scanning, and modeling, we can coordinate faster, identify issues earlier, and deliver more accurate, reliable results.
In-House Commissioning Agent
We are committed to delivering projects that perform exactly as intended—from day one. Our in-house commissioning specialist oversees the startup and testing of major equipment and interconnected building systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and communicate seamlessly. Through a comprehensive commissioning process, we verify that all systems are installed correctly, function as designed, and meet the owner’s performance expectations. By identifying and resolving potential design, installation, or integration issues before occupancy, we help prevent costly repairs, reduce operational disruptions, and provide owners with confidence that their facility is ready to perform at its best.
